Name The Skimmer Boat
Buffalo Bayou Partnership invites you to create a name for Houston's new skimmer boat. Unfortunately, the Mighty Tidy, our skimmer boat launched in 2004, capsized during Hurricane Ike last year. We are happy to announce the arrival of the specially designed replacement boat that will skim floatable debris from Buffalo Bayou, and is need of a name.

The most environmentally and creatively inspired name for the skimmer boat will be selected as the winning name.The winner of the boat naming contest will receive a complimentary chartered pontoon boat trip aboard BBP's The Osprey, for you and your 20 guests. Deadline for entries is October 16, 2009.
