Eligibility: MUST BE PRESENT
TO WIN. Entrants must be male, and at least 18 years of age by January 19, 2007
or older to win, possess valid state or federal issued identification and have
been a resident of the KRBE Broadcast area as determined by Arbitron for a
minimum of 30 days prior to the date of this contest. Additionally entrants
must be within the first 80 persons to sign up to participate in the contest.
Subject to
local and state laws, the contest is open to all persons who meet the above
stated eligibility requirements except employees and their immediate families,
and those persons residing in the same residence of employees of Raising Cane
Restaurants and Cumulus Media Partners, and their respective subsidiaries and
agencies. This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Any
deviation from these rules on the part of any contestant will render that
contestant ineligible. In the case of a challenge to these rules by a winner,
that person shall forfeit all prizes and awards in association with the
contest. The 04.1 KRBE General Contest Rules do not apply for any person
attempting to enter or win any prize in this contest.
To Enter:
One of three ways: 1) Go to Raising Canes restaurant located on Westheimer, near
Hillcroft in Houston, Texas on Friday, January 19, 2007 no later than 5:10 p.m.
Entrants will be required to sing unaccompanied for no longer than 30 seconds.
All entrants will be judged on stage presence, intonation, and vocal ability.
The persons with the 4 highest scores will receive a special wristband that will
allow them to “cut in line” at the MTV Making the Band 4 Auditions to be held on
Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the Meridian Room. 2) Go to Rasing Canes
restaurant located on Westheimer near Hillcroft on Friday, January 19, 2007
before 5:55 p.m. Properly complete an entry blank with your name, address,
contact number and age. One entrant will be selected in a random drawing to
occur at 6 p.m. This entrant will receive a wristband that will allow them to
“cut in line” at the MTV Making the Band 4 Auditions to be held on Saturday,
January 20, 2007 at the Meridian Room. 3) Go to 104krbe.com and properly
complete the registration form on-line. Two (2) entrants will be selected in a
random drawing at noon, Thursday, January 18, 2007. Each entrants will receive
a wristband that will allow them to “cut in line” at the MTV Making the Band 4
Auditions to be held on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the Meridian Room.
Neither Raising Canes Restaurants nor Cumulus Media Partners are responsible
for lost, stolen, misdirected, illegible, incomplete or late entries.
Up to eighty (80) persons will
have the opportunity to participate in this contest at Raising Cane’s. Only one
entry per person is allowed. All entry forms become the property of contest
sponsors, and will not be returned.
A total of 5 wristbands will be
distributed on-site. Four based on talent, skill and ability and one based on
luck. A total of 2 wristbands will be distributed via 104krbe.com registration
based on luck.
The odds of receiving a
wristband through the talent portion of this contest are based on the individual
talent and ability of those persons entering the contest. The odds of receiving
a wristband from the random drawings on-site and on the web are based on the
number of persons attempting to enter the contest.
All decisions of the judges are
final. If after the contest has begun changes or updates are deemed necessary,
all changes will be announced by 104 KRBE Staff Members. KRBE reserves the
right to terminate the contest earlier than stated, if deemed necessary by KRBE.
Wristband winners are
responsible for all and any registration, costume and transportation fees
associated with winning this prize. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED. PRIZES ARE
NON-TRANSFERABLE AND NON- REDEEMABLE FOR CASH. The Prizewinners will be
required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release and W-9 tax
form. By entering the contest, all entrants consent without permission and
limitation and without receiving additional compensation, to the use of his/her
name, photograph, voice and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes of
all sponsors and 104 KRBE and their respective affiliates and agents.
If by reason of error, more
prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these rules, all persons making
purportedly valid claims will be included in a random drawing to award the grand
prize, no more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.
All participants agree to
release and hold harmless Rasin Canes Restaurants, Cumulus Media Partners and
all contest sponsors, all of their affiliated companies and all of their
respective directors, officers, employees and agents from all losses, damages,
penalties, claims, actions, suits, costs, and expenses of any kind whatsoever
and any property damage, personal injury, or death to any participant or third
person arising out of or in connection with participation in the contest or with
the use of any prize awarded in connection with the contest. |
