I have lived close to downtown Houston for the past two and a
half years with my lovely wife Michele and my beautiful daughter Faith.
As far as the radio thing goes, I have been around for a
while, starting in 1989 while attending Stephen F. State
University. I made the leap to KHMX Mix in the early 90's,
jumping over to KRBE for a four year stint. After that, a
couple of years in NYC pulling Assistant Program Director
duties at Z100 and then getting back on the air at WXRK
K-Rock. After that, it was time to make the leap to mornings
with a three year stint pulling AM wake-up duties at KDGE The
Edge in Dallas.
At this point I became heavily involved in voice-over and
production projects, which meant it was time to do some time
in Los Angeles. After doing a late night shift at The World
Famous KROQ, it was time to take a chance and return to
Houston to work with a girl I had barely even met.
Enter Roula Christie. Roula was doing mornings in Philly and
we agreed to fly in and do a late night audition for KHMX.
They liked what they heard and we were both Houston bound.
After a few months we knew we needed another piece of the
puzzle to help us keep it running smoothly and we added Eric
Rowe from KDBN Dallas. Every day we crack each other up and I
hope we are able to make a few people smile along the way.
(From what I've heard, we've managed to get a laugh or two).
During my stint in Houston, I made a few return trips to LA
making appearances on Days of Our Lives, Passions, and Star
Trek Enterprise. (Yes, I'm a Trekkie, but I don't own a pair
of ears). Outside of radio, I would say I squeeze a lot out of
life. I consider myself a dedicated husband and father who
takes his family on plenty of Clark Griswald type adventures,
but who also raises hell on the weekends.
Whether it's hitting the club scene, checking out live music,
or hitting the bay doing a little boating, I would say there's
never a dull moment. As far as music is concerned, I love just
about everything imaginable. My I-Pod has everything from Rage
Against The Machine, to Frank Sinatra, to 50 Cent. Nobody will
ever accuse me of not having an opinion and I am fine with
that. Indifference has no place in my life. Even if you don't
agree with me, I hope at least I got you thinking! |
