Approximately 4,800 participants took part in the 17th annual ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run, raising $115,000 for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ Educational Fund.  Since the race began in 1987, the company has donated over $1.25 million toward college scholarships for Texas youth.

Houston Mayor Bill White served as the official starter for the 10K and 5K races, while Navy F/A -18 pilot Lt. Commander John “Jake” Ellzey and Navy F/A - 18 pilot Lt. Chad Albold sounded the horn for the wheelchair race.

Henok Lechebo, 18, of Toronto , Canada , took top honors in the men's 10K race overall finishing with a time of 31:26:05.

Kelly Keane, 31, of The Woodlands, Texas , finished first in the women's 10K race with a winning time of 34:18:65.

Comprehensive 10K race results and streaming video of runners crossing the finish line, a feature unique to this race, are posted on the ConocoPhillips Rodeo Web site. Runners may view the results and download the video file at www.conocophillipsrodeorun.com for individual use.
